Rangeford Villages appoints Willmott Dixon to create new £43m retirement community
Life specialist Rangeford Villages later appointed Willmott Dixon to complete a new £43million retirement community near Chertsey, Surrey
The new retirement community – Homewood Grove – welcomes the over-60s and is located on a brownfield site on the outskirts of town.
The retirement community will consist of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 700 square feet to 1,200 square feet.
Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2024 with the start of sales in early 2023 and followed by the opening of the first show home in summer/fall 2023.
The accommodation will be very energy efficient and will include modern features such as underfloor heating, double glazed windows and an all electric energy system to help keep bills down and reduce environmental impact.
Charging stations for electric cars, an electric pool car and public transport will be available to residents.

Homewood Grove will offer concierge-type services, as well as CQC-registered care and support services through Rangeford Care.
Rangeford Villages is receiving financial support from Octopus Real Estate, part of the Octopus Group and a leading investor in healthcare facilities in the UK and Ireland, for the project.
